Platt College has always been instrumental in encouraging and participating
in community events. The staff and students are active in
supporting and sponsoring fundraisers, working for specific
causes, raising money or emergency items for the less fortunate,
or simply helping make their communities a better place to
live. Several of the staff serve on local or state Boards
of Directors for non-profit organizations. Others volunteer
in their local communities serving as firefighters, raising
money for food banks, or helping their local schools with
tutoring. At the various locations, they have helped teach
CPR classes, worked at State Fairs finding lost children,
sponsored blood drives, volunteered to help provide immunizations,
to test emergency response systems, and partnered with local
middle school and high schools. Whether it is acting alone
for personal causes, or working as a team for national organizations,
Platt College employees and students are always available
to give back to others. Our philosophy continues today because
of the dedication and devotion of our staff and students.
