Medical Assistant/Phlebotomy

The Medical Assistant/Phlebotomy program prepares students for entry-level positions such as those available in medical clinics, phlebotomy labs, or physicians offices. The student develops critical administrative skills as well as clinical skills. The program prepares the student for entry-level positions such as Physician’s Clinical Assistant, Administrative Office Manager, Phlebotomy Technician or Laboratory Assistant.

The American Association of Medical Personnel recognizes our medical assistant/ phlebotomy programs** as a provider of students who bring discipline and uniformity to the growing need for professionally trained specialists working in a doctor’s office, hospital or clinic.

The length for the Medical Assistant/Phlebotomy program is 7.4 months and consists of 800 clock hours and 55.50 quarter credit hours.
