In 2004 Platt College Tulsa celebrated 25 years of providing local and commuting students quality career education in a variety of fields. Platt College Tulsa offers certificate courses as well as Associate and Bachelor Degree programs in day or evening classes to meet the needs of working adults. Our campus occupies two large facilities each containing separate media centers, classrooms, and labs, as well as student lunch and study areas. Class sizes are small compared to many schools, with a student teacher ratio of approximately 20 to 1. GED classes are also available on campus .
Tulsa is a great place to live, raise a family, visit, and work, with
a relatively low crime rate,
and many parks and recreation areas. Tulsa is below the national average
in unemployment, and reporting net new job growth. Tulsa’s cost
of living is less than the national average and our county per capita
income is above the national average. Tulsa was ranked in the top 10
southern cities in Southern Living magazine and Fodor's Travel Publications
listed Tulsa as one of its outstanding travel destinations, However,
noted that we are yet undiscovered.
The Oklahoma Governor’s task force for Economic Development states
that there will be shortages of medical personnel in the coming years.

The Platt College Tulsa Campus, is located in the heart of midtown Tulsa, with convenient access to both Interstate 44 and State Highway 51 (Broken Arrow Expressway) via Sheridan Road exits. Parking is available just outside the doors within short level walking distances. Students enter the buildings through the north-east door on the main building and the east entrance of the annex building.
Covered outdoor smoking area is provided at the back of the building
to provide for smokers and to maintain a fresh air atmosphere at the
main entrances.
The school hours are 7am to 10pm Monday through Thursday and 7am to 4pm
on Fridays. Prospective students are welcome to drop by anytime for a
tour of the facilities and/or to discuss our offerings with an admissions
representative, or if you prefer you can set up an appointment at a time
that is convenient to your schedule.
Our graduates work in diverse locations, such as clinics, doctors offices,
hospitals, and private health care.
