Dental Assistant

The Dental Assistant Program is designed to prepare the student for an entry-level position as a dental assistant in a general dentistry practice,

orthodontic practice, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, and periodontics. The Dental Assistant program develops front office skills and lab skills, as well as chair-side assisting, radiology, sterilization, and CPR.

Upon completion of this course, the dental assistant is eligible to take the Radiography Certification Examination. (Dallas campus:  Dental Assistant certification requires three tests. Radiography, Juris Prudence, Infection Control).

This program is currently offered at the following campuses only: Tulsa, Central OKC Dallas, and Lawton.
