The Practical Nursing program is an eleven and
one-half month program designed to prepare

students
without educational background beyond high school or GED for an entry-level
job as a practical nurse. The curriculum is designed to meet the needs
of the health care community. Upon successfully completing the written
state licensing exam, graduates can work under the supervision of a
registered nurse or a licensed physician to provide skilled nursing
care to selected patients.
This program is currently offered at the following campuses only:
Tulsa,
Central
OKC, and
Moore
Practical Nursing PN

The

Vocational Nursing VN
The vocational nursing program is
designed
to prepare students without educational background beyond high school or
GED for an entry-level job as a vocational nurse. The curriculum is designed
to meet the needs of the health care community. Upon successfully completing
the written state licensing exam (NCLEX), graduates can work under the
supervision of a registered nurse or a licensed physician to provide skilled
nursing care to selected patients. The
program is 14 months long. Classes are held 4 days a week 9:00 am to 4:00
pm; clinical schedules will vary.
